Nancy is an experienced public affairs and engagement specialist. Beginning her career on Parliament Hill, Nancy spent three years working on legislative research and public communications. After leaving the Hill, she spent two years at Elections Canada, supporting the delivery of youth civic engagement programs across the country. Notably, she supported the launch of Elections Canada’s first social media accounts.
Most recently, Nancy led strategic communications and engagement for a non-governmental organization in Montreal. She was responsible for stewarding partner and funder relationships as well as organizing government relations efforts. During this time, Nancy successfully secured multiple foundation and government grants.
Outside of the office, Nancy has volunteered on municipal, provincial and federal political campaigns in Ontario and Quebec, supporting outreach and community engagement efforts.
At CHG, Nancy provides counsel to non-profit, Indigenous, IT, and cannabis clients. She leads the development and execution of government relations strategies, monitors legislative, regulatory and political updates, and provides timely analysis for clients. She has experience organizing lobby days, stakeholder meetings, and large events. Nancy is also well-versed in crafting and executing advocacy campaigns, using traditional and social media channels.
Nancy is a graduate of Carleton University and holds a Masters in Energy Policy and a Bachelors in Public Affairs and Policy Management.
