With a thorough understanding of Ontario’s legislative processes and political strategy, Rebecca Grundy is a valued member of the Capital Hill Group where she serves as a Consultant. Through her hands-on approach, Rebecca helps CHG clients position themselves for success on policy development or regulatory changes, issues management, profile raising, funding applications and procurement. Her keen eye for strategic opportunities ensures CHG clients are well informed of the latest developments in the news, across municipalities and at Queen’s Park.
Prior to joining CHG, Rebecca gained extensive experience at Queen’s Park serving in the offices of MPP Ernie Hardeman and MPP Michael Harris as a Legislative and Executive Assistant. Working closely with stakeholders in transportation, construction, agriculture, consumer goods, retail and the environmental sector, Rebecca maintains solid understanding of the emerging issues and the political dynamics impacting these industries. Rebecca maintains positive relationships with key influencers at all levels of government, which is critical to the success of CHG clients.
In the spring of 2015, Rebecca joined PC Leader Patrick Brown’s office to help transition the team as Director of Caucus Relations and Caucus Tour. Since the start of her career, she’s given ample time to several election campaigns at all levels of government, notably as Regional Organizer for the 2014 Ontario General Election. She continues to stay active in the Ontario PC Party on her own time.
Rebecca graduated on the Dean’s Honours List from Brock University with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She has her Honours Post-Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Centennial College.
