Presian Dragiev is a recent master’s graduate from the Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto. His research focused on Russia’s defence industry, armed forces, and recent military history. Prior to this, he completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science at McGill University.
As a graduate student, he had the opportunity to conduct field work in Athens for a project on Greek-Turkish relations, as well as to work as a research intern for the Hungarian Institute of International Relations (HIIA) in Budapest. While at HIIA, his research mainly focused on Canadian foreign policy and Canada-EU relations. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing.
