Sarah Coady is a dynamic and accomplished recent graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in English in June 2023. Her academic journey encompassed a diverse array of coursework, including Public Policy, Global Governance, Indigenous Decolonization, and Contemporary Security Affairs, providing her with a robust and comprehensive understanding of critical global and national issues.

In 2020, Sarah founded the Women Leading Politics Association at Laurier and has since served two years as Co-president. Under her leadership, the association has become a vital resource for women from various academic and cultural backgrounds. Sarah’s efforts have facilitated meaningful discussions with political leaders, addressing inequities and promoting female success in the political realm. Today, WLPA continues to inspire leadership and drive positive change throughout the political community.

Sarah’s professional career includes her current role as an Associate Consultant at the Capital Hill Group, where she previously served as a Research Analyst. Her work focuses on Indigenous relations, and governmental affairs. As a consultant, Sarah is actively advancing her knowledge and expertise in the IT & Cybersecurity sector, Economic Development, as well as Municipal and Provincial affairs. Along with her public sector work. Sarah is also devoted to the non-profit sector, focusing on Indigenous affairs and volunteering with charities to raise awareness on critical issues, demonstrating her commitment to driving positive change in varying communities.

Outside of Sarah’s education and work, she enjoys hiking with her three dogs, reading, cooking, and becoming fluent in sign language.
